460mm Dia 160mm Chamber Base (2 x 160mm & 2 x 110mm side inlets)
Product Description
This 460mm Dia 160mm Chamber Base (2 x 160mm & 2 x 110mm side inlets)Â provides a versatile hub for your drainage network. With two 160 mm inlets and two 110 mm inlets on its sides, it accommodates both large and smaller feeder lines while maintaining a compact footprint. This base acts as a junction or access point in underground drainage installations, particularly useful for inspection, maintenance, or future extension of the system.
Manufactured in robust PVCu (or equivalent drainage-grade plastic), the base is suited for buried environments — resisting soil pressure, moisture, and ground movement. The 460 mm diameter gives ample internal volume for flow convergence, rodding, and inspection access. The inlets are arranged to provide flexibility in pipe routing, allowing multiple directional connections without the need for numerous additional junction fittings.
Supplied with blanking plugs for any inlets not immediately used, this allows you to seal off unused ports while preserving future expansion options. According to the specification listing, maximum invert depth from the base bottom to underside of cover/frame is 1,200 mm in line with Building Regulations guidance.
