160mm Backwater Valve Double Flap – Capricorn
Product Description
This 160mm Backwater Valve Double Flap – Capricorn is engineered to protect drainage systems and properties from reverse flow of wastewater or stormwater. It features two independent flaps that allow normal outgoing flow but automatically close when pressure reverses, effectively blocking backflow. This makes it ideal for installations where flood risk, sewage backup, or odour intrusion are concerns.
Constructed from robust PVC or similar underground-rated plastic, the valve incorporates stainless steel flaps for durability and corrosion resistance. Its internal design minimises blockages by minimizing areas where solids can accumulate in the flow path. The valve meets relevant industry standards (such as BS EN 13564) for backwater / non-return devices. In fact, similar double-flap valves are available in 160 mm size through known backwater valve ranges.
