Constructed from tough PVC-U, this hopper features a 140mm spigot end, allowing for seamless connection into downstream pipework. The body diameter is 110mm, compatible with standard underground drainage pipes. A square polypropylene grid sits atop the hopper, safeguarding the inlet from debris, leaves, and larger solid materials while still allowing strong flow, especially during heavy rainfall.

The product is finished in terracotta colour (on many models) with a contrasting grid, which helps it blend with standard drainage systems while standing up visually in external applications. The design usually includes a push-fit / ring seal or snap-cap style system in many of the Polypipe UG range, making installation quicker and reducing the need for adhesives or complex jointing.
