The rockwool rwa45 25mm acoustic insulation slab is a lightweight, multi-purpose stone wool slab designed to deliver dependable thermal, acoustic and fire performance across a wide range of internal partitions, floors, ceilings and roofing systems. Each slab measures 1200 mm × 600 mm, and a full pack provides approximately 11.52 m², making it ideal for large-coverage projects where consistent performance and quick installation are essential.

Manufactured at a density of around 45 kg/m³, this semi-rigid stone wool insulation offers strong sound absorption properties—helping to reduce airborne noise transfer through stud walls, between rooms, or between different storeys of a building. The 25 mm thickness is perfect for shallow cavities, over-boarding, acoustic upgrades or layered systems where a thinner slab is required without sacrificing performance.

With a thermal conductivity of approximately 0.035 W/m·K, the slab also provides effective thermal insulation, helping improve overall building efficiency. As a Euroclass A1 non-combustible material, rockwool rwa45 25mm supports improved fire protection by resisting flame spread and maintaining structural integrity during fire exposure.

The slabs are water-repellent, rot-proof and dimensionally stable, ensuring long-term reliability in both new build and refurbishment applications. They can be easily cut with a knife or insulation saw, fitting snugly between studs and joists at standard 600 mm centres to reduce gaps and improve performance.
