The Rockwool RWA45 75 mm acoustic insulation slab is engineered to deliver high‐performance thermal, acoustic and fire protection in a wide range of building applications. Each slab measures 1200 mm × 600 mm and is supplied in packs covering approximately 4.32 m² (typically 6 slabs per pack).

With a thermal conductivity (λ-value) of 0.035 W/m·K, the product offers effective insulation against heat loss while also helping to reduce noise transmission between floors, walls or ceilings.  The high density of 45 kg/m³ and its stone wool composition give it excellent acoustic absorption properties, making it well suited for separating walls, party floors, roofs, and internal partitions.

From a fire safety perspective, the slab is classified as Euroclass A1 (non-combustible) in accordance with BS EN 13501-1, meaning it will not contribute to the spread of fire and is suitable for use in buildings where fire performance is required.  Additionally, the product is water-repellent and free from CFCs/HCFCs, ensuring durability and environmental compliance.

Designed for ease of installation, the slabs are semi-rigid, easy to cut with a sharp knife or saw, and install neatly into standard stud spacing (600 mm centres) or joist frameworks. Their size and thickness make them suitable for retrofit or new build applications where improved insulation and acoustic performance is required without excessive thickness or structural modification.
