The rockwool rwa45 30mm acoustic insulation slab offers a versatile solution for thermal, acoustic and fire insulation across walls, floors, ceilings and roofs. Supplied in dimensions of 1200 mm × 600 mm (or comparable size) and covering approximately 138.24 m² per pallet, it’s manufactured from high-quality stone wool at around 45 kg/m³ density.

With a thermal conductivity of approximately 0.035 W/m·K, this slab provides strong insulation performance, while its non-combustible Euroclass A1 classification ensures it contributes no flame spread in fire situations. 
The product is water-repellent, dimensionally stable and resists moisture and rot — ideal for use in partition walls, intermediate floors, ceilings, timber or steel frame structures.

Due to the 30 mm thickness, this slab is particularly well-suited for acoustic upgrades, overlay installations, stacked layer systems or where limited depth is available, while still delivering meaningful performance. It can be installed between studs or joists with ease, cut to size with a knife, and pushed into place for a neat fit. Good practice ensures slabs fit tightly with no gaps to maintain acoustic integrity.
