Important Natural-Stone Information

Raj Green is a natural stone product, so variations in colour, veining, surface texture, dimensions and thickness are completely normal. These differences give the paving its individual character and should not be considered manufacturing defects.

The stone will normally appear darker and its colours more pronounced when wet or sealed. Product images showing wet or sealed paving may therefore look different from slabs delivered dry and unsealed.

For the most balanced finished appearance, open several packs and mix slabs as installation progresses. We also recommend ordering approximately 10% more paving than the measured area to allow for cuts, handling, selection and potential breakages.

Is Raj Green sandstone slippery?

The naturally riven surface provides useful grip underfoot. However, all external paving can become slippery when contaminated with algae, moss or debris, so regular cleaning is important.

How should Raj Green 900×600 sandstone be installed?

The slabs should be laid on a full-contact mortar bed supporting the entire underside of each slab. Spot bedding should not be used. Applying a suitable slurry primer to the back of each slab is strongly recommended to improve adhesion.
